Yes, They are real.  

I have traveled 5 hours to an event, but the fee did reflect that travel time and expense.  Typically, I try to stay within 1 hour. But we will travel for the right event!

This is a common question.  There is no straight answer for this.  My fee is based on the type of event, length of the event, as well as its location relevant to my house.  As I mentioned in the previous question, a 5 hour trip (one-way) would increase the fee considerably.  My fee could include an overnight stay, then there is the cost of a hotel.  But assuming all things are relatively normal, my fee starts out at $250/hr.  You can use our address to determine the distance and please understand that beyond 1 hour drive could increase the cost.

The simple answer is: "The easy ones!"

I love the kids, but I am not an entertainer... meaning that I have had events where the adults put me in a room with the kids and used me as a babysitter.  I don't babysit!  I don't do magic, I am not a magician!  I love to talk to the kids and get them talking about what they really enjoy.  I think it is important that the kids feel that Santa is listening.

Because I work with my wife as my Mrs. Claus, we have options for those little ones that don't want to go to a man with a beard!  Mrs. Claus steps in and I step back until the child is calmed down.  Then I can slip in behind them and we get the picture.
