Background
Member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santa's (IBRBS) in which a security background check has been conducted.
This is my eighth year as Santa Claus (2023). I started doing this out of pure joy and the desire to bring smiles to my community. I set up my Christmas display in my front yard and decided to put on a Santa suit. I stood in my front yard and started waving at everyone that came by. It's a large neighborhood and only one way in and out. I live at the entrance, so everyone coming in had to see me waving. Soon people started stopping by and taking pictures. They started bringing their kids and even bringing out the kid in themselves. My wife and I have been married since Oct 1983
(40 years) and she joined me as my Mrs. Claus in 2018. Together, we have a great time in our roles.
My background is in many areas of interest, I am a Navy Vet of 9 years, working as a Nuclear trained Machinist Mate, honorably discharged in 1992. I served in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, receiving the "Kuwait Liberation" (Kuwait) medal and the "Southwest Asia service" ribbon w/ bronze star. I Graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor degree in business management, This year, 2024, we moved to North Carolina to work with an international ministry based in Calabash, NC. On a personal note, I am starting a microgreen business in Clarendon, NC. I serve as a Board of Director, for a nonprofit organization.
